Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Rushin Roulette for trading me the two dual reduction Tower Shields. I was very lucky that I had something to trade for them. Very lucky indeed.
And it was good to catch up with one of the oldest school collectors from before my time.
Rushin, you are a gentleman and a scholar. Our conversation was a pleasure, and makes me wish I was collecting at the start. These interactions were commonplace in the olden days, and were what the notion of the gentleman trader were built upon. Sadly, barring a few notable individuals who remain, the gentleman trader is a dying breed.

Heya !
I was sitting in Kamadan with my beloved ritualist, spamming as usual for items I'll never find, when two gentlemen asked me about my titles.
Some of you know me as a gothic, demon shields, spathas or henchies collector, but the achievement I'm the proudest over my 10 years on this game, is my ritualist.
The journey began a bit more than 3 years ago, when with Libra we were sitting in pRma guild hall, asking ourselves what can we do on this game. We were done with Guild Wars and lazy to play, so the idea of maxing as many titles as we can with a level 1 came to us.
Libra started Libra How Did U Do and managed to max 15 titles. Since I already had a level 7 fow character, I decided to do Canthan and Tyrian cartographers to reach 15 titles.
But I couldn't let Libra get the most extraordinary low level character. I really wanted a ritualist, so how many title can we max at level 5 ?
The answer came after many hours of glitches research, and after a few more hours she was here :
I'd like to thanks a lot Libra for the time spent on our beloved characters.
For the most curious :

Dwayna we look alike heh.
I can only applaud and appreciate the efforts made, and resources used for something so unpractical that its just hella cool.
Great work man!
Just like this awesome purchase I was able to do thanks to Calin.
Had bittersweet feels when I lost the bidding against him, but i'm glad i'v had the chance to take another go for it.
This crysta is going nowhere, definately one of the better items in my collection!
And today i'v made the descision too purchase this Dual Perfect Req 7 Celestial Shield.
This shield may not be exactly what I was looking for, but it yields one important feature.
Its been my biggest priority too have a Shield worthy of being equipped alongside my perfect Crenellated.
This is what I truely wanted for this set to be, two dual perfect pre-nerf items in one slot.
A bigtime cheers for Calin and Aris, thanks both of you!

Hello all again,
After acquiring a true interplanetary weapon set I wanted the complete opposite: A set straight from the fiery depths of our earth. Today I bought myself such a set.
What would be a more fitting display than a clash between this set belonging up in the sky among the stars and a set which emerged from a pool of molten rock.

Very nice sets you have there Ham Rock. Its nice to see new collectors in this old game. Especially ones who have an eye for structured collections.

No need to thank me. Im very happy, that those shields have found a good home with a collector who can appreciate them. Thanks for the replacement shield from one of your duplicates (as I do use the dual reduction stats every now and then for one of my personal farming runs... which I will really need to re-learn now that I have returned).
I have decided to return to GW (just not as intensive as a few years ago), so I will have to re-learn the prices as they have deffinitely changed since I last played (price per Ecto/armbrace/rare item/Mini etc...).
I have also decided to concentrate on structuring my collections a bit to stop random spending sprees for items that will stay one of a kind in my collection or just because they are low requirements.
Ill just say sorry in advance Ham Rock, as you seem to be one of the few collectors who do (or did) collect caster shields. However, Ill be concentrating on Demoncasters and Demonconditions shields for the time being, so we shouldnt have too many overlaping interrests .

No worries, I only collect caster shields with a health mod. So I don't think we'll be having any overlapping interests.

Still work in progress, but here is my current standing with the demoncaster and demoncondition shields including a few random demonshields thrown in to fill the empty spaces (as well as a low armour but otherwise max stats Bronze shield)
